Finally there is time to spare, so I thought I’d use it to THANK YOU both for making our wedding day so very brilliant!!!

I never thought I would say this but the day was perfect!!!

The venue was set up beautifully and the garden was perfect for our photos! You were both very accommodating as there is ALWAYS last minutes issues, but you made it NO BIG DEAL and that always makes a person feel much better!!! Margariet, you were truly amazing with regards to helping us with all our dietary and traditional requirements! 

As for the food, SUPERB!!! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food (especially me the bride J), it was perfect & the display was most gorgeous for the dessert & cake and tea etc! The waiters were extremely helpful! We never battled with anything due to the great help you all were before and on the day of our wedding!

If we had to do this again, we wouldn’t change a thing; you definitely come highly recommended after our experience with you!

Thank you from our families for making our day a great success and truly a joyous event with no hiccups (and if there were any, we didn’t notice).

It was truly a blessing to have had our wedding at Everwood & you could never be thanked enough!!!

Wow what a phenomenal person you are, I know that at times I was the typical stressed out bride to be and put you under enormous pressure but you stood firm, gave me deadlines and stayed in control and always assured me that everything would turn out fine, and it did. I would not have had the patience with me if I were you.

I must thank you for the exceptional service that you delivered even before the wedding which is the part that no one else sees. With my mom having fallen ill just before the wedding, you were my saving grace. Thank you for all of the well wishes and prayers.

On the day of the wedding you provided my family and guests with outstanding service that we all felt like we were in a five star restaurant. Your attention to detail and personal visits to each table really showed me that you are in this industry for a reason - You made your customers very happy.

The Wedding Cake - If I had to draw you a picture of how I wanted the flowers to be put into the cake, it would have looked exactly like it did. You really translated my request with more tight flowers on the top layer. Simple and yet elegant - Everyone commented.

Your attire - You looked so professional in your Chefs jacket- different from the normal black and white shirt, I love your hair and make up.

The Food - WOW!  I cannot express to you what a relief that was. Everything, from the Soup and the garlic breadstick to the leg of lamb ( Who cares if the bone wasn’t removed) Guests told me that for the first time they were truly stuffed and didn’t have to stop at Mc Donald’s on there way home. Rokaya translated my moms request just as she wanted with stunning presentation. You know in our home we are used to GOOD food because my mom is an excellent cook and if we didn’t tell anyone that Rokaya cooked they would have been none the wiser and believed that my mom done the cooking, heheheheheheh. I wish that you can experience another Muslim wedding and see the types of food that we serve - You would be amazed and Muslim cooks are usually very reasonable - Look at what Rokaya charged us, for R50 you could get a traditional starter, Biriyani and Dessert. I hope you tasted some of the food, it was awesome.

Flowers - What did you think of them; I really liked the basket idea

Pics - I will; send you some pics as soon as I get them, I only chose the ones that I wanted printed yesterday as I only returned from Zanzibar last week. When the Photographer gives me the CD I will send you some to put on the website, no problemo.

Well – I don’t really know what to say!!!! 

This is the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever attended – (AND I’M NOT ONLY REFERRING TO WHAT ROXY LOOKED LIKE), I’m referring to the VENUE, Food, and Décor etc.etc. Etc. 

So, to Everwood, thank you for the most beautiful wedding a mother could ever wish for.  Everything was done to perfection and you accommodated us despite the MANY changes we made at the last minute.  Every minor detail (often things I hadn’t even thought of) was attended to.  You are truly a professional wedding venue and I would recommend Everwood to everyone.

Thanks once again for everything and for all the assistance for lour wedding. I must say that Both Amy and I were very impressed with the great service and excellent food that was provided by the Everwood staff. Many thanks once again for making our day the success that it was. We really owe you and Margariet a great debt of gratitude for everything. We have not heard one bad remark about the food...... In fact it has been praises all around. In fact one of our family members always complains about the food at any restaurant that he goes to and even he was impressed so congratulations and a big thanks for all the hard work and preparation. Amy and I will never be able to thank you enough.  

The venue was as breath taking as ever and was a great catalyst in creating the relaxed environment that we wanted for our wedding. Thanks a gain for the hard work that has been put into the Gardens. Everything was perfect.

Once again I am very sorry I have taken so long to reply!!!

Thank you very, very, very much for such a PERFECT wedding! I am still hearing from family how wonderful they thought it was, and yes, how perfect it all was.

As a result of our perfect wedding we now have a honey-moon baby on the way! Hence the late reply, I am forcing my way through all day morning sickness and I get so hot infront of my pc I avoid it like the plague!

I never even realised that Everwood had charged me for music in my flap and panic before the wedding. I had even forgotten Kobus' money at my brother's house and somehow my three brothers had the money between them so there was no need to rush back to Olivedale amidst the photographer's family snaps. (That was when I realised I had left the money behind) Anyway, thank you for letting me know.

In order for us to send you our pictures I will need to downsize them into a separate folder, is it alright if I get these to you at a later stage? You will not believe how beautiful they are!!!
